I really like the look of these shiny inserts. As opposed to scanning them, when I take a picture of them I think they turn out really cool looking.
I'm assuming that because it's an Olympic year, that's why O-Pee-Chee is doing the Canadian Heroes inserts, which is cool and all but how about 30th anniversary insert with the 1980 USA Hockey team? Just a thought.
I don't like the base cards as much as last years set, but I really like the inserts, but if you are a set collector-type person than the big "O" is your best bet. Because like last year, the amount of base cards in the set is just massive. I'm not sure but I think it's again somewhere in the 600s if I'm not mistaken?
In closing. Even though the weather this year prevented me from having the Christmas that I took time off of work for, it was nice that being stuck at home wasn't boring, since I had a tin of sweet cards to sift through.
